  • Is it running windows 11?

Microsoft doesn't care about activation anymore, and the community has reverse engineered it. It's even hosted on GitHub (owned by Microsoft) and they haven't taken it down. Search for "Microsoft Activation Scripts"

It's so good, Microsoft Support has been caught using it: Article Link

I don't think that answered your question but if you accept the answer that's ok I guess. 😅

isn't your question if it comes with Win11 or if it can run Win11?

from review "Runs Windows 11 Home (included) effortlessly,"

Bought one recently, for more than this deal :(, it came running Windows 11 Pro

  • 100% claimed

    • It's virtually sold out/100% claimed after 2 minutes!

If you are willing to use AliExpress, this isn't an uncommon price (good for quick delivery tho). There isn't much difference between the N150 and the N100, which judging by past deals can be had for $90-160 depending on ram/storage config.

    • hmm this one has usb c PD, kind of expensive on ali

      • Forgive my ignorance, is there any other reason to want PD aside from being able to use a smaller external power supply?

        • +2

hmmm one cable solution from it to monitor for example, but yeah for normal nas use maybe not necessary.

Might have been mine :) I impulse bought and cancelled about 30 min ago cuz i didnt really need one

        Same 😂

    DDR4 3200 though.

    • Out of interest, what sort of performance gain would you say you would get out of DDR5 with an N150? I'm guessing low single digits.

I would be far more concerned about it being good quality memory like Crucial or similar, not some cheap memory-error stick.

For anyone who missed out, this deal is still running: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/910884

If you add a new bank card to Amazon, you can get an extra $10 off via codes CARD10 or NAB10, bringing it down to $219

The PROs are you get two 2.5GbE ethernet ports, and it's running 12G DDR5 RAM (soldered on) not DDR4 RAM.
The CONs are that the SSD is 256G, however these SSDs are SATA anyway, so you'll likely upgrade to a decent NVME 2242 SSD later.

i don't get this. you can get these at this price all year round. you just need to know where to look.

    • Aliexpress?

    • +6

Are you aware this website is actually about sharing knowledge of where/how to find low prices for items?

      • +1

you can buy directly from the manufacture in china not via Aliexpress. Simply email them they will offer it at an exclusive price.

        • -1

Welcome to the OzBargain knowledge sharing community!

        • And where can we get the manufacturer details? From aliexpress and then google their email? Or message via aliexpress messaging system?

          • -2

@McMaferMur: usually Alibaba or find product code and google them

              @SpeedAU:

usually Alibaba or find product code and google them

It's like getting blood from a stone.

Speedau: this isn't a deal if you are smart like me

OzB: where can we get it?

Speedau: some chinese b2b site that doesn't have free shipping or Amazon returns and warranty coverage… doesn't bother providing details just waves hand vaguely in the direction of the internet

              OzB: gee, thanks! </s>

              • -1

@rumblytangara: do your research! im not hand holding. Alibaba traders are certified. If you buy using Alibaba Guarantee you are fine. All these stores on Alibaba have Aliexpress shops but when you ask for a sample they provide at better cost. Shipping is half price on first order.

                • @SpeedAU: I'm sure that in addition to the free shipping from Amazon that dealing Alibaba that the returns process is also a 5 minute online chat session, then a free postage return sticker that where you can take the product down to your nearest pharmacy or newsagent.

Not that I need one of these products, I have at 3-4 computers to people in my place already, but I was so impressed with your earnest helpful attitude that I just had to chime in.
