    A built in cable that practically begs to be used as a carry strap = built-in obsolescence.
    I would have bought it if it weren’t for that cable. That cable is so easy to damage, even if you don’t use it to carry.

          ah got u sorry we don't stock any wireless charging ones, maybe someone else who's tested these can offer some tips AFAIK they do tend to generate more heat than wired charging (a sign of lower energy conversion efficiency)

        Well, thats the first I've heard of this, but it only applies to domestic flights. International flights should be exempt at this stage. Highspeed rail is nice in China, but taking it for the sole reason that my powerbank wont be permitted is a bit… sus.

        I have some small electronics using 2500mah batteries that you can't find many of. How to deal with those?

          Safety. If it stops one incident in the air then it'll be marked as a 'job well done'. I assume the pile of powerbanks is just due to the lack of notice for air travellers. Everyone and their mother has a powerbank in China, using it to power their phones for all day use. It'll only be a matter of time when the CCC certification is everywhere, but it doesnt stop older powerbanks being used elsewhere.

    Let's put it this way: as long as you take a flight in China, even if you're flying abroad, a power bank will require a 3C certification because the inspection is carried out during security checks
