Pleasant surprise upon opening the app today, cheap fuel Tuesday got even better! Couldn't get a proper screenshot as i already used it today.

For those in SOR WA, Ampol Cockburn is one of the cheaper ones around and you can stack with Woolies fuel discount for 12c off

    I didn’t know you could stack Mytoyota with Woolies for a total of 12 cents off. I thought you could only use one or the other.

      It depends on which Ampol it is. If you also have the My NRMA app you can see which one allows double stacking.

      Ampol Foodary service stations previously did not allow stacking of the Woolworths fuel discount and the MyToyota discount, but it started being allowed around late September 2024.

      As @MeesusEff has already pointed out though, this will only work instore at Ampol Foodary service stations that accept the Woolworths fuel discount (which is only around 1/3 of Ampol Foodary service stations across Australia). If you do not have the My NRMA app, you can see these service stations on the Ampol website or via the Locator tab on the Ampol app (ensuring the Woolworths fuel discounts filter is enabled).

      Stacking the Woolworths fuel discount and the My Toyota fuel discount will also not work at other types of Ampol service stations (e.g. EG Ampol, which is separately operated by an Ampol franchisee and does not have an agreement with Toyota to honour any fuel discounts for My Toyota app users).

        Which in Canberra equates to the overpriced AmFoo servos - a total of 4/12 in the Cba/Qbyn area that I could see.

        Wondered why the Ww voucher didn't stack at Cba airport a few months ago. It showed as having the EDR icon which I assumed included the 4cpl Ww fuel voucher since that's where it sits in Ww system but Ampol has sneakily added another level of differentiation. Their loss, I've filled up at Metro twice since because their prices are consistently better even with no vouchers. Surprisingly (very) my local 7-Eleven was best of all apart from Costco last fill so they got my business .

        Cba is currently 33cpl dearer than APCO in Wagga (my reference point for cheap fuel in NSW, currently 155.9 for U95!!!) and is consistently 20-25cpl dearer thanks to total disinterest by the local Labor(/Green) government for more than two decades. Fwits.

    What do you need to join?

    Do they check that you actually own a Toyota?

                  @jv: Just go to a toyota dealer website. Plenty of VINs up there of brand new ones which are guaranteed to be not used by anyone for this purpose

                        @Big-Deal: thanks, I chose the most expensive vehicle in the used vehicle section…if anybody is willing to pay 100K+ for used Toyota, I don't think they are going to be looking to save 8c in an Ampol :) I only hope it allows them to use this app for whatever service they need for their high yield vehicle!

      Car rental places are excellent for VIN sourcing. In Qld, just enter the registration number in Check Registration Status, grab the VIN, and away you go. My old 100 series is now a 2023 Corolla Hybrid, courtesy of Hertz.

            @MeesusEff: Unlike in Perth where the price cycles every 7 days, the other capitals have a petrol price cycle that's usually between 1-2 months.

      I cannot see anything on my Ampol app regarding an 8c/L discount, plus when I was checking the Ampol app terms and conditions for the $1 coffee deal, I noticed it said this:

      Custom fuel offers are available to select customers and apply automatically on their next fill for a transaction of up to 150L using FuelPay via the Ampol app at participating sites where FuelPay is available. Not available to AmpolCard customers or in conjunction with any other offer. Offer ends 13 July 2025.

        I had an NRMA app targeted offer of 8c, i.e. 4c normal NRMA + 4c extra off (+ 4c woolworths), which ended 26 June.

        I think it was targeted as one account got 8c and the other account got 6c, and yes both of mine were up to july 13th plus also the $1 coffee deal.
