This game is usually $80 or thereabouts. Found it on special. My 8 year old loves it - good wholesome fun.

Great game, sadly not had much playtime in our house because 30fps in racing games is a bit of a slog.
Yeah that's tough. I'm pretty sure it's 120hz on my Xbox series X.

how is this compare to mario cart world. should i still get this
This different to Mario kart, sonic racing and crash bandicoot racing…it is more of racing game with no power ups and you collect different hot wheels cars in the game, there’s build up of turbo boost but no power ups.

Tried this out today on the Switch 2. Graphics are horrendous quality and one of the worst I've seen on Switch. Gameplay was pretty sad in the few minutes I played split screen. Maybe it needs a second chance. I splurged for the legendary version and kind of wished I hadn't. At least it was heavily discounted. 98" screen probably didn't help
Graphics on the Hot Wheels 1 was ok. Was thinking 2 should be better.
