Your bank manager must be happy…

      • It is absolutely fine if you are happy with coffee beans from Aldi, they are great for the price.

        • Lots of specialty roasters currently selling excellent beans for around $30-$40/kg for EOFY….

But if you prefer Aldi, go for it…

          • @jv: There are fundamental differences between roasters. Inglewood, for example not a fan at all, lacks depth and clarity. Lime Blue are pretty good though they don't do much light roasts. Stich is fine Code Black usually excellent.

            • @kenjai: My previous ones were from Lime Blue, and I liked both the same.

Killerbee is one of my fav blends for milk-based espresso drinks

    • Ugh. $75/kg.

Looks like I'll have to defrost a pack of Inglewood beans.

      • pack of Inglewood beans.

I'm trying their Roosevelt blend at the moment… not bad…

      • Inglewood beans taste like coffee beans from the hood.
        yeah, Killerbee is quite nice!

  • Would give them a go at 20% off, too expensive atm. I'll stick with my ONA (even though i have been having issues with the consistency, overall it's the best i've had at home)

    • ONA is going downhill in terms of quality over the years. Try Code Black.

I agree. I've had their raspberry candy for the last couple months and probably made 5 coffees in total that had the RC flavour from 1 of the bags. Nothing changed in my prep. Beans stored in a vacuum sealed/airtight coffee container. I had some success with their gateway so i think i'll stick to that for now.

$90 for RC is a joke, especially when it tastes nothing like RC. It's almost as if once you open the bag, the entire scent disappears/the beans degrade. Something has changed.

        • Sounds artificial to me. I will 100% avoid the brand from now on.

They have more locations in Tokyo than Australia, very interesting.

  • Bargain! Bought 14, one for the office and 13 for the grandchildren.
