    Want a S25 512gb Ultraaaaaaaa deal lolz

    • $1644 on the Samsung Education Store, you can also get a $100 discount code via chat and an extra 5% off your first purchase to make it even cheaper.

    • They're always cheapest at launch

  • How is this a deal?

I bought the s25 Ultra with trade in for like $600. This is not a deal.

        • Yeah I know

        • How?

          • @Ryanek: Lately, Samsung phones have almost always been cheapest at launch. I got the S25 Ultra down to ~$825 at launch.

Usually stacking everything, gives the best price e.g. using as many of the below offers as you can. Some will stack, some won't, some say they won't but still do. Sometimes adding the vouchers in a different order seems to make a difference. Always check the preorder deals on OzB, people often post detailed instructions showing the deals they have got.

            Education store or partner pricing,
            Preorder special pricing,
            Loyalty voucher,
            Chat voucher,
Preorder voucher (cost $20 but worth $100),
            Accessories spend threshold discount,
5% off first order for members,
            Free double storage upgrade,
Trade in value for old device,
Bonus trade in value for ANY device.

Trade in is not a deal either

          • @asa79: It usually isn't unless you have an older phone and don't really want to go through the hassle of selling it privately and may never use it if you decide to keep it.

JB need to hook us up with another Oppo Find X8 Pro deal. I am not sure how long I can wait before I end up just buying one of these Samsung deals.

    • Oppo usually drops in price quite quickly, surprised they haven't already dropped the price on the X8 Pro, it's a great phone and a shame they are not bringing the Ultra to Australia. Oppo can compete with Samsung if they have a better marketing strategy.

      • Yeah, I think I paid around $700 for my Find X2 Pro back in early 2021 and it has been an incredible phone. I would be holding onto it for many more years if it hadn't decided to randomly get 2 big green lines show up in its screen. At ~$300 for just the parts to replace the screen, I think I am better off just getting a new phone and the Find X8 Pro seems to be the best local market option available currently. It really is a shame that the Ultra isn't available, since that looks like an excellent phone.

        • I think the next best option would be the OnePlus 13 which is an Oppo Find X8 Pro in a different shell with a slightly different software.

The OnePlus is currently going for a really reasonable price, I was actually thinking about selling my S25 Ultra and getting one but I might just hold on to my Samsung for a little while.

          • @itsmoe: I was looking at the OnePlus 13 since it looks like a really good option, but I wasn't sure how it would go with network bands here in Australia given that it would need to be imported. Might have to dig a little deeper and find out if that is anything worth worrying about, but if it isn't, I'll have to keep an eye out and see what sort of deals I can find.

            • @XVX: You can buy it directly from an authorized dealer, oneplusmobile, it says it works perfectly fine with Telstra and Optus but maybe not Vodafone. Obviously do some digging and make sure it will work before you buy.

The 12gb/256gb is going for AU$ 1,290.00 which is quite decent if you compare it to Pixel 9 Pro XL and S25 Ultra before any discounts.

Same here. I’m also waiting for a good Oppo Find X8 Pro deal from JB. I need their trade in bonus too. so I can swap out my current pixel 9 fold. It’s either I get it from there, or I’ll go for the Pixel 10 Pro when it drops in August

As a proud owner of an X8 Pro, I can say with confidence that it's an amazing device. Looking forward to taking some photos with it on my holiday soon.
